Jubilee Park

Jubilee Park, situated at the end of Badswell Lane, is a wonderful area for children and adults to meet and play. It was opened in 2012 and has been well used and enjoyed since then. It has become a meeting place for families and even a venue for birthday parties.

The park incurs maintenance costs of approximately £3,000 a year; cutting the grass and hedges, safety checks, insurance etc. The Parish Council covers 60% of these costs but the remainder is raised through fundraising events organised by The Friends of Jubilee Park.

There are currently 12 Friends of Jubilee Park who meet once a month to plan family-friendly events — Treasure Quests, Car Washes and May Day Magic. Each month one Friend carries out a weekly safety check of the Park to make sure it is safe for everyone to use. New members and fresh money making ideas are always welcome!

There is always a surprising amount of lost property (mostly clothing) left at the Park. To reclaim this, to find out more about becoming a Friend of Jubilee Park or make a donation towards the upkeep of the Park please use the link to our Facebook page Appleton with Eaton's Jubilee Park  — https://www.facebook.com/groups/352248380038/

Please note that there is no parking available near Jubilee Park so please walk or cycle.
